Power jets are necessary to calibrate the valve's timing, that is, how long the valve stays open. When the Leshiy 2 fires, the valve always opens completely - we use power jets to close the valve as fast as we need to achieve desired power levels. The longer the valve is open the more power is transferred; the bigger the diameter, the faster de valve closes, and the lower will be the muzzle energy of your Leshiy 2.
